A few weeks ago, a friend of mine (who is also an artist/photographer) asked if I could help with her portrait series project.  I agreed enthusiastically and we got to talking.  I had always admired her work from a far, and chit-chatting was just an easygoing experience that made me really happy.  (She also had an adorable dog that I couldn’t keep my hands from snuggling!)  I saw her wear adventurous makeup for years and was inspired to try my hand at it again.  Due to my laziness, I haven’t worn full on eye makeup since high school, but I was determined.  Just like drawing, makeup is something you don’t ever forget, and I’m pleased with being able to create fun looks again so easily.  I have a few posted in my portfolio, and here’s a couple pics from just playing around:

Yes’m, Valentines Day.  The day of love and chocolate, or if you’re single like me, lots and lots of chocolate.  Instead of sulking like so many individuals on this day, I decided to dress up and have fun.  Here’s my outfit today, I’m in love with this dress!
